• What is Bakhoor?
  Bakhoor is traditional incense made from wood chips soaked in fragrant oils, used throughout the Middle East to perfume homes, clothing, and spaces.
• How do I use Bakhoor?
  Place a small pinch of bakhoor on our custom made electric easy-to-use incense burner or on a charcoal disc in a traditional burner. The heat will release the aromatic smoke into the space.
• Do I need a burner to use this?
  Yes. Bakhoor must be gently heated to release its fragrance. You can use a charcoal burner or an electric incense burner — sold separately.
• How much should I use?
  A small pinch (about the size of a pea) is enough to fill a room. Our bakhoor is highly fragrant — a little goes a long way.
• Is your Bakhoor made with natural ingredients?
  Yes. Our bakhoor is handmade in the UAE using natural oud wood, essential oils, and aromatic resins — no artificial fillers or harsh chemicals.
• How long does the scent last?
  The scent typically lingers in a room for several hours. On fabrics, it can last even longer.
• Is it safe to use indoors?
  Yes, when used responsibly in a well-ventilated area. Always monitor the burner and keep it away from flammable surfaces or materials.
• What makes The Oudyssey's Bakhoor different?
  Our bakhoor is crafted in small batches in the UAE with a focus on quality, tradition, and refined scent profiles. Each blend is designed to offer a luxurious aromatic experience.

• Where do you ship from?
  All orders are shipped from our facility in the United States.
• Do you ship internationally?
  We currently ship only within the United States and Canada.
• When will my order ship?
  Orders are processed and shipped the next business day after purchase.
• How long does delivery take?
  Delivery typically takes 3–10 business days depending on your location.
• Will I receive tracking information?
  Yes, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order is on its way.

• Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused, unopened bakhoor in its original packaging.

• Due to the nature of bakhoor, we cannot accept returns on any product that has been opened, used, or tampered with.

• Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, unless the product is defective or you received the wrong item.

If your item arrives damaged or you received the wrong product, please email us at sales@theoudyssey.com within 3 days of delivery with a photo of the item and packaging. We'll make it right.

All opened or used bakhoor is final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
